Who is Diaz Construction?

Diaz Construction was founded by Ernie Diaz, a lifelong Oxnard resident with over 16 years of experience in the construction field and a licensed general contractor since 2021. Ernie started this company on his own, built on the values he believes matter most: quality work, honesty, and treating every home with the respect it deserves.

Born and raised in Oxnard, CA, Ernie attended Rio Del Valle Middle School and Rio Mesa High School, and he takes pride in serving the same community that shaped him.

Outside of work, Ernie’s world revolves around his family. His partner and support system, Graciela, and their three children — Belen, Santiago, and Sebastian — keep him grounded and motivated. Much of his free time is spent watching his kids grow, supporting their activities, and cheering them on in their sports.

Ernie also gives back to the community as a volunteer baseball and soccer coach, bringing the same leadership, patience, and commitment he uses on the jobsite to the teams he works with.
